New SoHo In Cyberjaya


SUNTRACK Development Sdn Bhd recently launched Kanvas SoHo, a trendy, artsy concept development aimed at young professionals, via its wholly-owned subsidiary Suntrack Raven Sdn Bhd.

The twin-tower, 30-storey stratatitled, freehold property located at Cyberjaya’s Tier 1 central business district comprises 646 SoHo (Small office Home office) units and 18 retail units spread across 3.4 acres with 119,000sq ft of communal space.


Kanvas SoHo with a gross development value (GDV) of RM201mil will be priced from RM260,000 up to RM322,000 for a built-up area averaging 485sq ft.


Each unit will feature a spacious bathroom, designer built-in kitchen cabinet along with branded hood and hob, two air-conditioning units, a water heater tank and a fridge.


Facilities include a 25m infinity pool, grand entrance, thematic outdoor and indoor lobbies, sky lounges with a panoramic view of Putrajaya Lake and the Cyberjaya skyline from each tower, an art plaza for community events and designer landscapes, amongst others.


The Kanvas development also includes 18 retail units priced between RM1.4 mil and RM2.5 mil complete with 150 car parks. Kanvas is located at Jalan Teknokrat 6, Cyberjaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.


Construction is due to start in June this year and is scheduled for completion within a three-year period.



The development is a joint venture between Suntrack Raven Sdn Bhd and Prima Avenue Property Sdn Bhd, a noted land owner and pioneer property developer in Cyberjaya.

Areca Properties is a relative newcomer on the block established just two years ago, compared to other seasoned developers such as SP Setia Berhad, UEM Land Berhad, Mah Sing Group Berhad, Nadayu Properties Berhad and OSK Property Holdings Bhd which have identified Cyberjaya as the latest playground for their projects, Areca Properties executive director Aidan Hamidon is buoyant that the company is able to fulfil a gap in the landed development market in Cyberjaya.


He anticipates that demand will be forthcoming and robust for its residential units. Unlike most of the landed properties here which comprise super-links, semi-detached units as well as bungalows, Areca Contempo Homes emphasises close community living backed by active security features and comprehensive common facilities, making life here a breeze. The overall gated and guarded development consists of about 700 units of terrace homes, which will be developed in two parcels over the next three to five years.


Areca Contempo Homes consists of two parcels measuring approximately 75 acres of which 18 acres or 25% are dedicated to greenery and amenities. An integrated sports and function centre as well as a clubhouse to foster a sense of community will also be other key features of the development.


Residents will enjoy extensive greenery both within their property compound as well as within the gated and guarded environment of the development.
